Welcome to Overdue Finds, an Edmonton Public Library podcast. Bryce Crittenden and Caroline Land will be hosting conversations about movies, music, books, pretty much any sort of popular culture and media you can think of and likely some you’ve never thought of. We’re hoping you’ll learn more about what you can find at the library.

Dec 16, 2022

Wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas! Bryce and Caroline are joined by The Muppet Christmas Carol superfans Marina Afonso and Courtney Loberg to discuss the 30th anniversary of this classic Dickens adaptation. They discuss the biology of a pig and a frog having children, share appreciation for the book-keeping rats, and talk about why it's so funny when the Muppets go meta. Plus the five words that cracked Caroline up: Fozziwig's old rubber chicken factory.

Be sure to check out our list of all the titles that we talk about on this episode including the many other versions of A Christmas Carol that you can borrow from us.
